Favourite Protein Balls
These protein balls are a weekly favourite in our home. I often prep a double batch to keep in the freezer when Iām in need of a quick, healthy snack. They come together in minutes and provide healthy fats, fibre, and protein to help fuel your day in the morning or when you need a pick me up in the afternoon.
Ingredients
Makes 14 balls
1 cup rolled oats, pulsed
1/3 cup honey, liquid
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tsp cocoa powder
Directions
1. Using a food processor, pulse the oats until they are more broken up (around 3-4 pulses).
2. In a medium size bowl, add all of the ingredients together until well mixed.
3. Cut squares of plastic wrap and place on the counter. Take about a tbsp of mixture and roll into a ball using the palm of your hand. Continue rolling each ball until the mixture is all used up. Wrap each individual ball and place in a container in the fridge for an easy grab and go snack!
